That thing messed up so many times w/ my vim mapping (Ctrl+s = save (that’s the only one thing that i had carried over from windoZZZe to linux)) on so many terminals. Now i know why
Seriously. W.r.t. global shortcuts, there’s no clear winner (or is there?) For example, I have 2 apps running on my desktop, and both have Ctrl+PgDown shortcut. What happens of that? Also, if I have a gnome-term (or xterm or Konsole) and within it another app running, whose keyboard shortcuts are in priority?
